Fat Loss Tips – #48
Here’s today’s 3 top fat loss tips:
One of the funniest and most packed-with-shit things I’ve read recently was someone trying to claim that eating “healthy” was too expensive for most “poor” people. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Poor people are poor because they’re eating Domino’s every night and feeding kids they can’t afford. Eating “healthy” is WAAAAAY cheaper than what they choose to do. Stupid, stupid argument. It all comes down to removing comforts and getting rid of bad habits.
Anyway, the article above talks about eating a good diet, keeping it cheap as hell (which isn’t difficult) and I like the way he is honest about what is a decent amount of protein. Will gives a non-Societally-Conditioned number for his protein intake – similar to mine. Have a read.
Here’s another one on protein. Admittedly, when you’re cutting AND you’re already lean, you’re protein needs are legitimately quite high. Eric Helms proved this – Google it. But, if these two conditions are not already met, you probably need a lot less than you think (thanks, supplement industry).
I have to say, I like Chris Shugart and his wife (or girlfriend) Dani. They really do speak the truth, I like it. I’m all about the truth. Something I’ve said for a while is that (obviously) people in our society get fatter as they get older. Most of this is completely unnecessary.
One of the factors that enforces this phenomenon is marriage. Now, I’m not saying marriage is necessarily bad, but I think it makes people very, VERY comfortable. Comfort seems to equal fat gain. No need to get offended by it, I’m just stating what appears (at least to me) to be incredibly obvious.
In fact, I see this with a lot of younger people too – it’s not just marriage, it’s in normal boyfriend/girlfriend relationships. Young people are less likely to go full on fat, but they eat more crap when in relationships. It’s due to comfort.
Anyway, the point of the article above is to be aware of this clear pattern with people. Try to avoid getting to comfortable. I never allow myself to get too comfortable. Eventually that comfort will be shattered, and you’ll be in a weak position.
There you go; 3 quick but incredibly useful fat loss tips for you. Try them and your fat loss results will improve – get to work.
