Fat Loss Tips – #9

 

Okay, so I appreciate that my weakness is probably that I have too much of a broad, macro-level perspective on fat loss. I have almost become dismissive of the “little things” that add up to success over time.

 

These things are incredibly important, especially if you’re a relative beginner, or haven’t made progress in a while. Whilst long-term strategic planning is key, you also need day to day success as well.

 

Here’s today’s 3 top tips:

 

Start Drinking More Water, Immediately

 

Don’t fuck this one up – it can make or break a diet. Most people simply don’t drink enough for health reasons, but if you’re on a diet, this will make you feel fuller. Very important. Most people take it for granted and forget about it. Alhtough I should warn you that although this is obvious, you will be pissing more often.

 

But that’s a fair price to pay for looking awesome.

 

Cook Your Own Meals

 

Yes this is the same article – I’m impressed with it.

 

This is the ultimate way to take complete control over your diet. I would argue that it’s one of those things that’s not as important when you’re in a calorie surplus/mass-gaining phase, but in terms of fat loss tips, it’s crucial.

 

Your wife, the chef at the restaurant, or your mates may or may not care about your fat loss goals, and may or may not throw loads of extra salt, sugar and shitty calories in there without you realising. Learning how to cook (if you don’t already) and minimsing the occassions whereby you’re essentially out of control are very important for fat loss phases.

 

This doesn’t have to last forever, but it’s important when trying to lose weight. Do you want to make progress, or not?

 

Try Intermittent Fasting

 

I don’t agree with Kinobody’s training advice, but he’s good when it comes to nutrition. This isn’t necessarily a fat loss tip per se, but this is a useful video to gain an idea of what IF is, and Kinobody’s experience when first trying IF.

 

It honestly is great for appetite suppression, and therefore fat loss. As I’m currently finding out, it’s very, very difficult to eat enough to gain muscle whilst Fasting – it’s a powerful suppressant. There’s nothing magical about it at all, I just want to emphasise it’s a tool for self-control and appetite manipulation, nothing more.

 

There you go; 3 quick but incredibly useful fat loss tips for you. Try them and your fat loss results will improve – get to work.
