That’s not an exaggeration, at all.

This article includes advice that NO OTHER article mentions, and it’s the only way to guarantee that you stop porn.

If you follow the practical advice I lay out for you in this article (inspired by the hundreds of Twitter DM’s I’ve been getting on this topic), you’re going to achieve things you never thought possible.

We’re talking:

  • More mental clarity and focus (which leads to everything else getting better)
  • More success with real life women, less female-pedestalisation, and no more erectile dysfunction

The reality is that porn is just like any other addiction, in the sense that on a basic biological level, it screws up your reward system (dopamine).

All motivation to put in the work (career, fitness, approaching girls) disappears, and you become OBSESSED with the reward (porn).

In order to reverse this problem, and this is the same with virtually all other addictions, you need to remove the reward entirely, and re-wire your brain.

Many studies like this one conclude that the best treatment is to ‘abandon it completely’, but nobody is giving you a specific battle plan.

This is THE most important step, folks.

A successful dopamine fast is non-optional for quitting porn.

Because without this, you’re not truly re-wiring your brain, and you’re always liable to slip-up again in the future.

Until you do this successfully for one week, you will never be truly free from a relapse back into the world of porn.

This is the LONG-term solution to your porn problem.

So, how exactly do you execute a dopamine fast like a pro?

Here’s what you cannot do during the dopamine fast, for seven days:

  • Watch porn (obviously)
  • Eat sugar or any junk food (it may even be a good idea to do a 72 hour fast)
  • Drink coffee or any other forms of caffeine
  • Drink alcohol
  • Smoke cigarettes, cigars, or weed

“But that’s WAY too difficult, that will NEVER work!”

It is hard. But it’s only for one week.

This needs to be viewed as basic training.

You’re training yourself to be a badass, and if you can get through these seven days, you’re about 75% of the way there (and I’m going to cover what you should do during this period, in just a minute).

This is the most important step.

But ALL of the rest of this article is going to help you to pull this off successfully.

This is your seven day battle plan for quitting porn, and re-wiring your brain.

Delete Your Search History & Any Saved Pictures

This should be done on day 1 of your dopamine fast, and it’s a critical step towards controlling your environmental triggers.

If you follow these three steps, you’re going to have extremely high levels of success with this:

  1. Delete your browser history.
  2. Get rid of any subscriptons to these toxic websites.
  3. Delete any saved pictures you have on any electronic devices.

This literally requires zero effort, and is the easiest thing in the world.

Unfollow ALL Hot Girls On Instagram

Here’s my rule when it comes to hot girls (and it’s one you need to follow):

If I’m not having sex with her, she’s not getting any of my attention.

Zero. Nil. Nada.

If you want to have complete control over your mind and your porn addiction, you MUST unfollow all hot girls on Insta.

I don’t care how famous the model is, or how long you’ve personally known your hot friend, doesn’t matter.

This is YOUR LIFE we’re talking about here.

Do not compromise.

All hot girls are unfollowed, starting TODAY (day 1 of your dopamine fast).

Train More, Train Harder

This comes after the other steps, because if you get the first two steps right, you’ll have more motivation and energy to train.

Having said this, getting physical is one of the key components to getting your mind right.

If you want to REALLY get your mind right, the best strategy for you is to train every morning during this seven day dopamine fast, for a minimum of 30 minutes.

This could be lifting, walking, cycling, swimming – it’s really up to you.

But no matter what, make sure your heart rate is in the 60-90% range, so that you really maximise the benefits of exercise listed in this study (including more interest in real life sex).

Now, if you screw up on one or two days during this period, it’s not the end of the world.

Just realise that the key here is to get more active, and to spend more time away from screens.

Trust me, when you look like a fitness model and you’re hitting personal records left and right in the gym, porn becomes less appealing.

Get More Sunlight

Following a similar path to the above, getting more sunlight will get you outdoors and away from screens, which plays a really important role in quitting porn.

It’s not just the logistical side of things either.

This study shows that almost half of the PLANET is deficient in vitamin D(!)

This will of course reduce testosterone, and make it easier to be addicted to porn.

If you really want to stop porn for good, a really good habit to build is a daily morning walk for 30+ minutes.

I want you to do this EVERY DAY for seven days, on top of your daily exercise (we want to be firing on all cylinders to ensure that you quit porn for good).

As a man, you are wired to conquer.

You need an enemy to defeat.

Setting goals in your career, business, or with your investments, is what will allow you to get all of this.

When you’re making bank, porn becomes less appealing.

So my advice here is to get really clear on what you want to achieve long-term.

How far do you want to take things in your career, or business? CEO? Multi-millionaire? Real estate empire?

Whatever your dreams are, get them written down, and devise a long-term battle plan to achieve them over this seven day period.

Quitting porn will 100% change your life, and you can do this within seven days.

The most important step is to get the dopamine fast correctly set up. Intermittent Fasting will help with your diet, and it’s also incredibly important that you stay away from things like alcohol and caffeine.

Not only will they screw up your reward system, but alcohol will make it MUCH more likely that you’ll relapse, due to the loss of self-control.

You also need to stop seeing nakes girls, which means no more porn sites, and no more girls on Instagram. Ideally, you barely go on Instagram at all (what are you ACTUALLY gaining from it dude?)

Finally, training, sunlight and working towards building your long-term empire, are all going to channel your focus into positive, masculine actions, and will put you back in the drivers seat.
