How To Eliminate Sweets To Get Ripped As Fast As Possible

Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent Fasting Lifestyle

A problem that a lot of guys have, is that they’ve allowed bad habits to accumulate over time. It’s easy to do in our current society. We’re surrounded by junk food wherever we go, sometimes work consumes us, sometimes we just get caught up in the rush of daily life.

A sweet here. A cupcake there. A chocolate bar here.

And before you know it, you’ve gained ten pounds.

And then another ten.

All of this is simply an accumulation of bad habits. They’re not easy to get rid of, especially if you’ve been performing them for a long time.

But they’re perfectly do-able.

Replacing Habits

The best way to get rid of poor habits is to replace them.

Now, there is a certain level of ruthlessness you have to adopt. I’m not going to lie; you can’t be a complete pussy. You just have to DO IT. Get rid of the sweets. Eliminate them from your cupboard. Replace them with something else.

This then begs the inevitable question: “What should I replace them with?”

I think the best answer to this is going to depend on the person.

But here’s a few really helpful ideas:

  • Apples
  • Pears
  • Pineapple
  • Protein bars
  • Protein shakes
  • Nuts
  • Carrot sticks
  • Fruit salads

Yes, they’re not the same. But that’s not the goal. The goal is to replace your original pure, 100% sugar option, with something that’s actually offering nutritional value and actually filling you up.

Protein bars, for example, will fill you up and help significantly towards your protein target for the day. AND they taste good. So they make a great substitute for sweets.

Carrot sticks are a funny example, but I swear to God they’re great. They’re crunchy, they have plenty of fiber, and they taste decent too. Get some.

Getting Ripped With The Intermittent Fasting Lifestyle

If you want to get ripped the way I did by adopting the Intermittent Fasting lifestyle I talk about, then you need to replace junk food with more useful foods.

Yes, with Intermittent Fasting, you’re allowed to feast like a king in the evenings.

Yes, you should save about 50% of your calories for the evenings.

But no, this doesn’t mean you can eat loads of sweets and chocolate. The reality is that this damages your ability to gain/maintain muscle, stay healthy, and maintain high energy day to day.

Get rid.

Anyway, if you’re fed up of:

  • Starving yourself
  • Sacrificing meals out
  • Sacrificing your social life
  • Destroying your love life (and sex drive)
  • Ruining your ability to travel

  • Stalling with your weight loss
  • Looking like a “diet freak”
  • Losing muscle
  • Looking too skinny
  • etc.
