Not long ago, I released a poll on Twitter asking for your biggest roadblock to high testosterone.
When I say testosterone roadblock, what I’m truly referring to is your ability to naturally get to 800-1200 total testosterone, and maintain it.
This is where things like muscle gain, fat loss, confidence, depression-relief and a great mood all come far more easily and naturally – life is simply better.
You cannot accept a testosterone level of 200-300, which is categorised as “normal” in today’s declining, overly-feminised society. When in fact it’s diabolical for your health, your happiness, and overall quality of life.
The options in this poll ranged from:
“Don’t know where to start” to “Don’t eat the right foods”, to “Currently have too much body fat”.
Most people chose the first one, which is fair enough. But the second most popular choice was the third one, meaning there’s a lot of people with a lot of weight to lose.
It also means that most people believe they are eating the right testosterone foods, but fat loss continues to be an issue regardless.
Perhaps lockdowns are to blame for the fat gain, perhaps it’s your S/O, perhaps it’s none of those things. But whatever the case may be, excess body fat is literally blocking your path to high T on a molecular level.
The biggest problem with excess body fat by far, is that it’s literally estrogenic. Meaning that beyond a certain threshold, your fat cells start to secrete estrogen, which completely blocks testosterone production, and the use of said testosterone.
So it goes without saying that getting the excess down is going to dramatically improve not only your testosterone production (in the testes themselves), but also how much your body can use.
Another issue is that once you have a ton of body fat, your chances of developing insulin resistance begin to increase dramatically.
Meaning that your body starts to ‘hate’ carbs more and more, and unless you do something about it, you’ll struggle even more to get lean. It’s similar to “the rich get richer” – “the fat get fatter”.
It’s partly due to an accumulation of bad habits over many years that become hard to break due to the nature of deeply-ingrained habits, and then partly due to insulin resistance.
So the solution?
Act now, act fast, and don’t give in.
So how exactly do you burn the excess fat during your high T conquest?
Obviously, selecting the right testosterone boosting foods and eating them often is going to be very helpful, because it gives your body the fundamental resources to produce testosterone in the first place.
But this isn’t enough.
As we’ve already discussed, it won’t help you if there’s a 5 inch wall of fat around your midriff causing your estrogen levels to permanently spike. Combine this with gyno, and you’re in a lot of trouble.
Most of your success is going to come from removing the majority of ‘bad foods’ you’re currently eating, and following a proper regimen, and not deviating from it.
When you set aside 3-4 months to just completely focus on fat loss and nothing else, it’s very achievable. That’s 3-4 months of focusing on:
If you’re looking for a personalised Intermittent Fasting plan that will set you straight if you stick to it, check this link out. I write these personally, and they’ve been responsible for taking men of all ages to 10% body fat.
Just remember that if you control what goes into your shopping cart and what goes into your house, then you control what goes into your mouth.
Everyone knows that they should control what goes into their mouth.
But nobody does it, because they screw up on the other two.

]]>The post Gyno: How To Get Rid Of Man Boobs appeared first on Forever Alpha Blog.
]]>Despite having more muscle than a woman, a man with a bad case of gyno could well end up resembling a woman, especially around the nipple area.
The puffiness, the lumpiness, and the emotionality involved tends to drive these men crazy (and I would be the exact same if it was me), with it affecting at least 30% of men at some point in their lives according to this study.

Gyno isn’t just ‘body fat’ in a particular area.
The tissue is actually more glandular in nature, and is firm to touch (as opposed to the ‘squishiness’ of your lower belly fat, for example).
The glandular tissue then grows over time to encompass a larger area around the nipples, which is why it’s important to attack the gyno much earlier on, before the need for surgery arises.
If your nipples are looking puffy and feeling itchy?
Get to a doctor.
But essentially, gyno is caused by having too much estrogen in the body relative to testosterone. There can be an underlying genetic component to this, but it’s almost always due to diet and lifestyle. What you do and do not put into your body plays a huge part in this.
Let’s look further into the causes of gyno…
When young boys are starting to enjoy their voices breaking, hair growth, and other masculine characteristics, the unfortunate reality is that estrogen is often on the rise too.
The likelihood is that this is due to increased aromatisation from all this new testosterone into estrogen. Often, this is genetic. But things like getting enough sleep and minimising sugar intake can make an enormous difference too.
From this study:
“In mild cases, simple reassurance coupled with advice on diet and exercise may be sufficient.“
This needs to be emphasised more for all men with non-steroid-induced gyno. Diet, sleep and exercise are absolutely essential for preventing and controlling gyno. Steroid-induced gyno is a little different.
The vast majority of the time, boys between age 11-16 will lose their gyno within 18 months or 2 years. This is especially true if they stay relatively lean, they lift weights (no, it’s not ‘dangerous’) and they eat healthily.
Cereal is not healthy. Take-aways are not healthy. Staying up until midnight is not healthy (if they have school the next day).

So this one occurs much later in life of course, and has a couple of differences that separate it from puberty-induced gyno.
Men aged 50+ tend to have a lot more body fat than 11-16 year olds. Especially in today’s society, as their habits have had more time to accumulate, plus their hormones are very much against them (unless they’re on TRT).
Body fat itself, converts more of your testosterone into estrogen.
So getting leaner is of utmost importance to men over age 50 or so.
Furthermore you tend to see higher levels of SHBG in older men, which means that while their total testosterone levels may appear to be okay on a blood test, their free testosterone (useful stuff) is pretty terrible.
Free testosterone is what counts, and older men tend to have less of it.
Not all steroids will do this, but there’s a fair amount that will aromatise from testosterone into estrogen. Namely, testosterone (any ester), dianabol, anadrol, deca, and a few others.
Diet, sleep, and body fat % will not save you from gyno if you’re literally injecting super-high levels of testosterone into yourself every week. There’s just too much test, and it WILL aromatise.
The only solution for this is to get aromatise-inhibitor drugs, like Aromasin or Nolvadex.
If your body fat % is well over 30 or so, you’re definitely at a higher risk of gynecomastia. There’s increased levels of aromatisation from the fat itself, as we mentioned before.
But whether or not gyno occurs, is dependent upon testosterone dropping too.
There is significant overlap between this, and obesity and aging. Both of the latter can cause hypogonadism (sub 300 testosterone, I believe).
But hypogonadism can affect non-obese men under the age of 50, usually due to a variety of factors including lifestyle, diet, alcohol consumption, and even being raised by a single parent.
By default, if you have clinically low T, more estrogen will be produced. As testosterone levels go down, estrogen goes up, putting you at risk of gynecomastia.
Leading on from this:
If you’re hypogonadic, then a tumour could be responsible for this (although highly unlikely), and this would therefore affect your treatment.
Tumours can also occur in the adrenal glands or elsewhere, and this removing this via surgery would be the best outcome.
Getting rid of gyno depends on the cause.
If the cause is puberty, then 9 times out of 10, it simply disappears on its’ own, and will disappear much sooner if the teen sorts out his eating and sleeping habits.
If the cause is aging, then most likely the man needs to lose some body fat (ideally getting below 15%), and start a TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) protocol at a local hormonal clinic. The Ultimate Testosterone Manual guides you through the step-by-step process for TRT.
Remember, free testosterone is all that truly matters, and be prepared to take an AI for a while until your estrogen levels are where they need to be.
If it’s caused by anabolic steroids, then estrogen levels must be controlled via an AI. If that fails, the steroids should be stopped.
With obesity, the obvious answer is to lose a significant amount of weight. Check out my Ultimate Guide To Intermittent Fasting to learn more. You don’t have to get as lean as 10% body fat, but you do want to be aiming for ~15%.
The solution to hypogonadism, regardless of your age, is to start TRT. You will need to explain your issue to the doctor though, and he will make sure your estrogen levels are kept in check (likely with an AI).
Now, if you either have a severe case of gyno that has been lingering for quite some time, OR you have an underlying tumour somewhere, then surgery is the answer.
“Because gynecomastia usually regresses spontaneously, if the appropriate work-up does not reveal any considerable underlying pathology, reassurance and periodic follow-up are recommended at 6-month intervals.[5] In some cases, treatment may be needed, for example if severe breast enlargement, pain, or tenderness interferes with the patient’s normal daily activities.“
(Study)

It’s about £3,500 – £5,500 in the UK, and anywhere from $3,000 – $7,000 in the US. So not cheap.
It should also be noted that a significant percentage of men who had gyno surgery were dissatisfied with the end result, from an appearance standpoint.
Whilst it definitely beats having man boobs, it will never look as good as your pecs would have looked if you’d never had gyno in the first place. Just to set your expectations in advance.
It pays to have an experienced surgeon.
Here’s the corrective process (study):
“Surgery is the criterion standard treatment for gynecomastia. The most commonly used technique is subcutaneous mastectomy that involves the direct resection of the glandular tissue using a periareolar or transareolar approach with or without associated liposuction. Liposuction alone may be sufficient if breast enlargement is purely due to excess fatty tissue without substantial glandular hypertrophy. 18 Skin resection is needed for more advanced cases.“
Having said this, it’s unlikely that you’re going to need surgery. There’s many steps you can take BEFORE surgery, that will enable you to get rid of your gyno well before it reaches this stage.

]]>The post 4 TOXIC Testosterone Killing Foods (And What To Replace Them With) appeared first on Forever Alpha Blog.
]]>
Unfortunately, as processed carbs & junk food continue to dominate the planet, so too does low testosterone. There’s now an abundance of testosterone killing foods, that you’re probably not even aware of.
Not good.
You’re surrounded by them in your environment, your friends probably eat them too (which makes things more difficult), and your hormonal health will continue to suffer unless you put a stop to it.
Testosterone is simply the very thing that makes you a man.
If you have too much estrogen or body fat, or you’re simply going to become fragile, weak, and your entire life as a man starts to decline.
Whereas in contrast to this, if you boost testosterone to >800 (where it needs to be for optimal health as a man), then you will benefit from:
This stuff is too important for you to NOT fix. I mean your entire life depends on this stuff – testosterone is your fuel.
Whether young or old, low testosterone quite literally means you’re more likely to DIE.
Studies have repeatedly shown that there’s a very strong link between low testosterone and depression. Low testosterone also means you’re more likely to make less money.
So if you’re a younger man, it’s absolutely critical that you avoid these testosterone killing foods. If you’re over 40, you’ll still need to do this, but TRT may also need to be considered.

Some foods are worse than others, but the general areas to look out for are anything with estrogens, alcohol, added sugar, or overloaded with omega 6’s.
Estrogen quite literally equals DEATH for your testosterone levels.
Not only do man boobs look terrible but they will also ruin your health on a very base level.
Whether this is coming from your excess body fat stores, or the foods you’re eating. Sugar causes hormonal havoc, and omega 6 prevents the right ratio of omega 3: omega 6, which is absolutely critical for boosting testosterone.
But without further ado, onto the testosterone killing foods:
I would argue that this is the worst testosterone killing foods in the modern era, because it’s just so prevalent, so addictive, and so easy to mess up.
And I say ‘added sugar’ specifically, because I’m always being asked about fruit, which of course does not kill testosterone.
Fruit has lots of micronutrients, lots of fiber, and lots of antioxidants. It can also be very useful as a pre-workout or post-workout snack.
Whereas sugar without the fiber will only lead to a drastic surge in your blood sugar and insulin levels, which will completely inhibit your testosterone production.
But what about processed sugar? Does this sugar lower testosterone?
You bet it does. It’s a combination of the massive insulin spike (which prevents both testosterone production AND HGH production), and also things like omega 6, trans fats etc.

One of the worst testosterone killing foods is soy. Because essentially, soy = estrogen.
Soy foods such as:
Are all going to completely destroy your testosterone, despite being frequently marketed as ‘health foods’, which is an absolute joke.
They all contain phytoestrogens that will dramatically ramp up your estrogen levels in a dose-dependent fashion.
Want to increase testosterone?
Cut the bloody soy!

Beer not only gives you the ‘beer belly’ but it also kills testosterone. From a calorie standpoint, a sleep-worsening standpoint, and an estrogen standpoint (like soy).
People won’t like this, but even two drinks a day can have this effect. Here’s another study showing that beer and wine both lead to ‘depressed’ levels of testosterone.
But here’s the main three factors I would like to personally address:
Calories – Excess calories lead to excess fat plain and simple. And excess fat stores are guaranteed to ramp up the estrogenic environment in your body. By the way, read my Ultimate Guide To Intermittent Fasting if you want to lose the fat.
Sleep – Inadequate sleep is also a path to low testosterone, depression, and general weakness. You MUST prioritise your sleep, and it’s next to impossible to do this with regular beer drinking.
Estrogen – Beer not only makes you fat, but it also directly increases the estrogen circulating in your system (due to hops), so it’s a double-whammy of testosterone destruction.
If you want to boost testosterone, go for several months without beer, and you’ll soon realise that you don’t even miss it.
If you’re looking to completely transform your physique within 3 months, make sure you get on the Fighters Program.
The goal of this three part video course (plus excel training program, diet guide, and various bonuses), is to get you down to a shredded 8% body fat.
Check out the link below:
Onto more foods that kill testosterone…
This one is a problem, as it disrupts the healthy balance of fats that is required for high testosterone. Think of fats as the necessary infrastructure for hormonal health.
Here’s the problem. The average American has an omega 6:3 ratio of 50:1 or more, which is insane!
This ratio needs to be 3:1 OR LESS.
So how do you improve this ratio so that you can boost testosterone?
Stop eating the following testosterone killing foods (high omega 6 content):
These buggers will murder your testosterone levels, and the sooner you get rid, the better.

In order to boost testosterone the most important thing to do is follow the above four steps, and basically STOP eating the testosterone killing foods.
But how?
The secret lies in controlling your environment, and your behaviour prompts. You’ve got to avoid things like:
All of these are simple behavioural hacks you can use to control your environment, and therefore your ability to quit junk food, which can be easier said than done.
Start with the easiest.
It’s like paying off debt via the ‘snowball method’.
You want to start with the easiest one, whether that’s junk food, soy, beer, or the excess sugar, and then build momentum from there.
Once you’ve quit one, your power starts to build. Your confidence, your self-esteem, your results all grow, and this makes it easier to quit more of them.
Once you’ve quit junk food, you’re in a really strong position, and can start ramping up your testosterone levels into the 800-1200 range.
After executing this part of the plan, it’s time to replace the bad with the good. The good, meaning fatty fish (omega 3’s), eggs, and grass-fed meat.
All of these foods give you the foundational infrastructure for high testosterone, and these are the foods that we’re wired to eat as men.
If you can get more of the following foods into your diet on a consistent basis, I promise you your life will change forever.
Think: More sex, more money, more energy, more muscle; everything improves. Testosterone truly is the hormone that fuels everything else as a man, and if you can get your levels to >800 (get my guide on how to achieve this), you’ll be MILES ahead of the competition.
Testogen is a very potent testosterone booster (which isn’t technically a food, I know), with up to a 44% boost.
This is why I had to put it at #1.
Testogen has all the supplements that we know that work, all combined into one neat supplement. From vitamin D, to magnesium, to zinc, to B6, to DAA.
All of these supplements themselves have been shown to be effective at increasing men’s testosterone, and Testogen has taken advantage of this to become a super supplement.
The reality is that my Twitter followers have had too many good reviews from this. From basketball injuries healing, to libido increasing, to a 44% increase in blood serum levels, Testogen clearly WORKS.
You do need to give it a month or two, but when combined with a good diet plan, you’ll become unstoppable.
Things like salmon, mackerel, sardines, and herring are absolutely jam-packed with omega 3’s, that are essential for hormone production and brain function.
One of the best things you can do to boost testosterone, is to start eating more fish. Meals like salmon and broccoli bake, mackerel with eggs (see below), or simply having canned sardines as a time-efficient snack, will all go a long way.
3-4x per week for these meals would be ideal.
If you can combine 3+ weekly servings of fish with a daily serving of 1000mg fish oil, your entire life will improve within a matter of weeks.
Easiest thing in the world.
Even if you don’t like the taste of fish, you can benefit from omega 3s and the resultant improvement in your omega 6:3 ratio, by supplementing with at least 1000mg EPA/DHA daily.
You will need to be super consistent with this though, if you’re literally never eating fish.
Eggs are an eggsellent (sorry, couldn’t resist) source of magnesium (very important for testosterone), healthy fats and also vitamin D.
A study on the impact of eggs on male testosterone levels:
“In conclusion, it appears that proteins, particularly egg white protein, may be beneficial in enhancing serum testosterone levels, with this effect observed within 4 to 5 h after meal consumption. Conversely, both MUFA “good fat” and PUFA “bad fat” had a similar negative impact on post-prandial testosterone levels over a 5 h period.”
They truly are an all-round health food, and what’s more? They’re CHEAP.
So the complaining about healthy food being expensive is absolute nonsense when it comes to eggs.
They’re a legitimate superfood, and will be a great asset in your testosterone boosting plan.
“But what about cholesterol??”
Eggs will improve your HDL cholesterol, but they’re not actually going to damage your health by raising triglycerides. What does this is chronically high insulin, and SUGAR (which is also one of the testosterone killing foods).

Grass-fed meat is an important testosterone boosting food, because of the micronutrients, protein, healthy fats, and here’s a big one:
It isn’t pumped full of drugs, and it hasn’t been fed with corn it’s entire life. When it comes to meat, quality is key.
A study on meat vs soy:
“Forty-two healthy adult males aged 35–62 years were studied. Diets were isoenergetic, with either 150 g lean meat or 290 g tofu daily providing an equivalent amount of macronutrients, with only the source of protein differing between the two diets.
Each diet lasted for 4 weeks, with a 2-week interval between interventions….. the mean testosterone:oestradiol value was 10 % higher (P=0·06) after the meat diet. SHBG was 3 % higher (P= 0·07), whereas the FAI was 7 % lower (P=0·06), after the tofu diet compared with the meat diet.
There was a significant correlation between the difference in SHBG and testosterone:oestradiol and weight change. Adjusting for weight change revealed SHBG to be 8·8 % higher on the tofu diet.”
Meaning that not only did meat lead to a 10% increase in testosterone (over soy) in ONLY FOUR WEEKS, but soy actually raised SHBG (which reduces free testosterone) by a whopping 8.8%!
So the real reduction in FREE testosterone was likely closer to 18-25% in a matter of four weeks.
Eat your meat.
The most important thing when it comes to your health, is that you stop eating the testosterone killing foods (and stop drinking beer).
If you can do this, you then at least are giving yourself a fighting chance of having 800-1200 total testosterone.
This comes before ALL else, and a 72 hour fast will help you tremendously with this.
The next step (equally important) is that you start consuming WAY more fatty fish, the right supplements, eggs, and grass fed meat.
If you’d like to ramp up your testosterone and also get down to 10% body fat, make sure you’re on the email list.
7,000 others are on there, and they’re chiselling their physiques as we speak.

You’re a man. I’m a man. We both want to boost testosterone in any way we can.
Why?
Well, because it quite literally leads to a better life. It gives you more energy, more motivation, more drive, more muscle mass & strength, and it gives you more pleasure from building businesses, working, growing, being productive etc.
It’s nice.
But the problem is that most men are never going to experience ANY of this, because they’re addicted to porn, alcohol or video games, they rarely get laid, or they don’t lift weights often enough.
It’s a shame to see that American men’s testosterone levels have been falling by 1% per year (on average) since the 1980’s. Millenials are incredibly effeminate, live with their parents WAY too long, and have a victim/blame mindset. So low testosterone is affecting men of ALL ages.
I gave six potential solutions in this article here, which I think you may find useful.
But today, I’m going to talk IN-DEPTH about the biggest solution of all of them. This is THE testosterone boost of all T-boosters.
Let’s delve into it.
It’s not that sexy, right?
But I’m telling you, your entire life will change for the better if you make this a priority. Most people are quite literally DESTROYING their testosterone, drive, sex appeal, and income-potential by staying up too late to watch TV, binging on Netflix or some other nonsense.
And I don’t want to hear about rare exceptions of CEO’s who succeeded in spite of sleeping less.
Are YOU making 7 figures?
Are YOU bench pressing 275 pounds?
No?!
Well then, get your testosterone levels up, sleep more, and you might have a shot at those things. Because you’re clinically insane if you try to imply that sleeping 5 hours is superior to 9.
Your physique will improve SO much faster if you get your sleep up from 5-6 hours, to 8-9 hours. Muscle gain comes easier. Fat loss and staying satiated comes easier. You won’t crave sugar anywhere near as much.
It truly is a life hack.
So what are my practical tips for getting this sorted in your life?
This is the Golden Range all men should be shooting for if they want a life of good health, muscle mass, easier fat loss, and greater productivity.
But how do you sleep more and get closer to this goal?
Yes, it’s an urgent priority. The quality of your future depends on it.
Take me as an example. I get up at 6am, every morning. If I want to get 8.5-9 hours of sleep every night, I need to be fast asleep by ~9:30pm. And quite often this take me ~30 minutes or so. Therefore, I set my reminder for 8:45pm every night so I have time to brush my teeth etc.
You may not need to get up (or go to sleep) as early, so adjust accordingly.
Simply having this reminder and sticking to it, has the potential to change your life.
If you’re over 40 and you’d want a training program that’s designed to boost your testosterone, check out the 007 program. If you need your diet sorting for maximum fat loss, check out the meal plans I offer.
If you’re serious about IF and you want to take your fasting game to the next level, make sure you get into the Intermittent Fasting Fast-Track members group, where you can access over $725 of content. Make sure you get in before the last day of the month, so you can access the exclusive newsletter.

A recent DM on Twitter:
“I just saw another post about testosterone and wanted to share a personal experience that might be of interest. I had a dr send me to an endocrinologist because my mental and physical health went to shit. This was early 2018. They said my testosterone was in the 200s. I was 39 at the time.
But the dr said once you take testosterone injections you have to always take them because your body quits producing. Instead of going straight to that, he put me on clomiphene to see if my body’s testosterone production could be jump started. It was. Taking clomiphene every day took me from 200-something to over 1000 in 6 months. I’m now on every other day and around 850-900. It’s been a blessing to me and something I wish I knew 10-plus years ago. You probably already knew this but a lot of men don’t.”
A big problem a lot of guys face, is that they want to optimise their health, feel better and look better, but doctors don’t help.
For Men Over 40, testosterone is measured at 200-350 (most of the time), and they’re summarised as ‘normal’, when of course normal is diabolical in a declining, overly-feminised society.
Doctors aren’t going to help you. But who will?
And this leads me onto endocrinologists and hormonal clinics. While nothing is guaranteed in this area, and it is a numbers game to some degree (I’ll explain shortly), you’re far more likely to have honest results by approaching these kinds of people.
Hormonal clinics specialise in this area, and aren’t going to read your total T as ~300 and declare “you’re awesome, no need to change anything.” Instead, they’re more likely to get you onto a plan that gets your total free testosterone into the 800-1200 range, which is where it needs to be for a healthy, high-performing male.
And that leads me onto another point:
Total testosterone (800-1200) is a good starting point for measuring your testosterone, but actually a more accurate measurement is going to be your FREE testosterone (the testosterone your body can actually use), and this needs to be between 14-21.5 pg/ml for optimal male health.
But my advice would be to get both measurements, and make sure you’re in the right ranges for both, long-term.
If you want to know what this looks like in a step-by-step action plan, here’s a useful, five part documentary of the TRT process.
When you’re putting together your own TRT process, there will be a ‘numbers game’ to some degree (like there is with anything). You’re probably going to need to speak to multiple hormonal clinics in order to find your ‘favourite guy’, and have him assist you, especially during the beginning.
Later on, you can do it yourself at home once you get the hang of it – much like the guy who messaged me did. You will need to look at this as a long-term health investment, and something you’ll commit to for the rest of your life.
It’s well worth it if you can get your levels into the 800-1200 range, and experience better:
Within a matter of months.
And yes that last one – mental health, is a big problem these days. Depression has sky-rocketed in recent years, for a variety of reasons. But I’ve said for a long time now:
There is no such thing as a high energy, high testosterone person with depression.
It simply doesn’t exist.
Depression is low energy, low drive, and enthusiasm for just about nothing in life. High testosterone (800-1200) is the anti-thesis to depression.
In fact, if you combine this level of testosterone and masculinity with the ideal training system for Men Over 40 – the James Bond program – you’ll be unstoppable.
I also talk a lot about getting the ‘natural’ methods right first – diet, sleep, training and supplementation (the Bond program sorts out training and supps), the Intermittent Fasting meal plans will ensure you’re getting plenty of Essential Fatty Acids in your diet, and the right macros for your goals.
Finally if you’re 100% serious and want one-to-one coaching, check out my coaching options here. Tailored meal plans, tailored training programs and coaching calls are all available.
Enjoy!
