When reading this, I realised just how applicable this is to fitness, and all Men Over 40. You must manage your time, your meals, and your training schedule effectively if you want to maintain success with fat loss and fitness in general. How far in advance should you plan?
Is planning your meal schedule 2 weeks ahead too far in advance? Probably. But can you plan Monday to Friday’s meals on Sunday? Of course. Have a read of this article, and let me know what you think:
Paul talks about how muscle is always lean, which I like, as this term gets thrown around left, right and centre. Fat is what makes you not lean. But apart from this, he mentions a few factors in terms of guys who are looking to gain muscle:
- You don’t want to be too lean
- You don’t want to be too active
- Take your time – it takes a long time to gain muscle
