Alpha Physique Fat Loss Tips – #74

Here’s today’s 3 Alpha Physique tips:

Paul Revelia – When To Adjust Your Diet

Being objective with yourself on a diet is a very useful skill, as dieting is an emotional endeavour. You’re fighting your biology – homeostasis – every step of the way. You lose objectivity when you become emotionally invested into the process, which you will when it means a lot to you and you put a lot of effort into it.

Paul gives some great tips on how to remain objective during a diet and only adjust when it needs to be adjusted.

Don’t Ditch The Heavy Weights

There seems to be some bro-science floating around the internet about how you much do high rep sets when trying to lose weight, and heavy lifting is only for bulking. I have no idea where this crap came from, and I suspect it’s something to do with burning more calories.

Listen, you may burn an extra 25 calories if you do higher-rep sets. That’s it. Weight training is for preserving muscle, not losing fat. Let the diet and cardio do that.

Heavy weights are always required in a program, at least to some degree. Don’t be an idiot an get rid of them. Read the above article on for more great fat loss tips for your beach body.
