Getting a six pack is perfectly possible for most men, regardless of age. The difference between older and younger men is that older guys will struggle to maintain as much muscle when dieting.
A calorie deficit works on the body the same as gravity. You can’t argue with basic science.
Therefore, get your ass to work, and get that six pack.
Joe is bang on when he states that education without action is useless. This is the problem with a lot of more intelligent and/or analytical guys (myself included) – it’s all for nothing if you don’t take action.
You must take action on your knowledge. Make 2018 your year of action. Do it now.

There are certain limits to both calories and cardio, in terms of what will provide you with sustainable fat loss. If you want to get your beach body and maintain it, this is crucial.
Yes, push yourself, as Paul states in this video, but set limits. For me personally, I never ever go below 1800 calories. Paul recommends never going far below 10*BW calories. So if you’re 200 pounds, never go below 2000 calories.
This is a great recommendation.
I also never do more than 5000 calories of cardio per week. He recommends no more than 45 minutes per day. I go slightly more than that as my maximum. It works for me, and it gets me shredded and provides extreme dieting freedom.
But I don’t reach these limits until I’m single digit body fat %, and this is done on purpose.
