They train harder than ever, and if you follow my advice and prioritise the big compound movements, this may add unnecessary strain to your back in ways you don’t want it to. This is especially true if your technique isn’t great.

Personally, I think it’s a difficult decision to make. I realise that if you’ve got a puffy face and want to be more attractive, you would be better off getting leaner. But you will compromise the long-term base of muscle doing this. I am tempted to say that you would be better off long-term by slowly bulking, gaining muscle with minimal fat, THEN cutting down.
Just think of the long-term muscle and strength you’ll get.
This will help you bust through fat loss plateaus; you know you can do it – you’ve made a habit of facing challenges head on, you’ve made a habit of rising to every occassion, and pushing through every personal barrier. Fat loss problems now become no biggie. Everything is within your capable hands.
